I’m Kathryn Perry, Founder of Big Vision Local. I grew up in a family-owned business with a serial entrepreneur dad.

My first direct experience with marketing was at a concession stand my dad owned. It was a hot summer day at the famous First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas and the BBQ stand across the way was getting all the customers. They had professional signage, country music blasting away and we felt like failures before we ever got started.

In frustration, my mother handed me a frozen corny dog and told me to stand outside our concession stand, wave it and get attention, and I was not to stop until it was hot enough to eat!

I felt so proud when the 1st customer stepped up to the stand and bought a corny dog. Even at age 13, I knew, marketing isn’t about just getting the attention, it’s about getting customers and making sales – and if you don’t make sales – you don’t get to eat!

Today, I help local businesses get online & grow their presence online by offering simple, affordable, and easy ways to manage their brand presence in search engines, directories, review sites, track their competition and much more.
